Besides taking advantage of the Chelsea the Premier League football squad over their arch-nemesis Arsenal, 4-1 in the UEFA Europa League final in Baku, earlier this morning, the free fried chicken was part of his intention to be charitable to the public.

According to Ariffiuddin, he did not expect that his action would get a lot of attention online when his stall became viral in social media since evening after the announcement was made.

The idea crops up when he was watching the exciting final match on television with his friends who were also fans of Chelsea football club.

“Indeed, I have long been interested in Chelsea. This promotion I am doing was just for today in conjunction with the Chelsea victory.

“I did not expect them to go viral however more than 20 Chelsea fans did turn up and received our fried chicken which was normally sold for RM3 a price. Promoting the business is part of my efforts to give charity and share our fortune with customers, “he said when contacted today.

Running a business under the label Wak Crispy, Ariffiuddin has been in business since 2005.

Apart from operating his stall in Bidor, his booth also operates in Ipoh.

[Note: The free fried chicken offer ONLY happens on the day of the match where Chelsea wins. The stall is no longer offering this for free now however his stall continues to operate until the end of Ramadhan.]
